Universal paste for wallpaper

We recommend using our universal paste when hanging our wallpapers.

The paste is available in 250g packs for approx. 5-8 rolls of wallpaper or in 500g packs for approx. 10-16 rolls of wallpaper.

 

 

Properties

A.S. Universal Paste is reinforced with synthetic resin, very economical, resistant to lime and cement, and has excellent adhesive strength with good correction possibilities.

The paste dries without leaving stains – even on fresh, dry plaster.

 

Surface preparation

Remove all old wallpaper completely before wallpapering. The surface to be wallpapered must be dry, clean, firm, stable, flat and slightly absorbent. Fill any cracks and holes with filler and prime highly absorbent surfaces according to the table on the packaging.

 

Application

Stir the contents of the packet thoroughly into cold water (see table on the packaging).

After 2 minutes, stir the A.S. Universal paste vigorously again, then leave to stand for another 15 minutes and stir again – it is then ready for use.

Do not leave the prepared paste to stand for long periods.

 

Wallpapering

Paste the wallpaper or walls evenly, following the processing instructions, and then hang the wallpaper. For paper wallpaper, softening times may need to be observed.

A.S. Universal Paste has been specially developed for A.S. and livingwalls products (paper, satin, textured and non-woven wallpaper).

Store the paste in a dry place out of the reach of children.

Paste for non-woven wallpaper

We recommend using our non-woven wallpaper paste when hanging our non-woven wallpapers.

 

 

Properties

A.S. non-woven wallpaper paste is made from high-quality methyl cellulose and starch, is very economical, resistant to lime and cement, and has excellent adhesive strength with good correction properties. The paste dries without leaving marks – even on fresh, dry plaster.

 

Substrate preparation

Remove all old wallpaper completely before wallpapering. The surface to be wallpapered must be dry, clean, solid, stable, flat and slightly absorbent. Fill cracks and holes with filler and pre-paste highly absorbent substrates according to the table on the packaging.

 

Application

Pour cold water into a clean bucket according to the table on the packaging and quickly add the contents of the packet, stirring continuously.

Stir the A.S. Universal Paste vigorously again after 5 minutes, then it is ready for use. Do not leave the prepared paste standing for a long period of time.

 

Wallpapering

Apply the paste evenly to the wallpaper or walls, following the processing instructions, and then hang the wallpaper. A.S. non-woven wallpaper paste has been specially developed for A.S. and livingwalls products.

Store the paste in a dry place out of the reach of children.

Finished wallcovering paste

Properties

The finished wallcovering paste is very economical and has excellent adhesive strength with good repositioning properties. It dries without leaving marks (even on fresh, dry plaster) and is lime and cement resistant as well as solvent-free.

Our ready-to-use paste is available in 720 g tins and 3 kg buckets.

 

Substrate preparation

Remove all old wallpaper completely before wallpapering. The surface to be wallpapered must be dry, clean, firm, stable, level and slightly absorbent. Fill any cracks and holes with filler and pre-paste highly absorbent surfaces according to the table on the packaging.

 

Application

Stir the paste thoroughly before use. Do not use the paste at surface and room temperatures below + 5 °C. Once opened, the finished wallcovering paste can be kept in a well-sealed container for up to 7 days.

 

Wallpapering

Apply paste evenly to wallpaper or walls in accordance with the processing instructions and then hang the wallpaper.

Store the paste in a closed container out of the reach of children.
