Hanging non-woven wallpapers

The substrate must be clean, dry, smooth and stable. Old wallpaper must be removed beforehand and cracks and holes filled.

A primer is recommended for highly or slightly absorbent walls (e.g. plasterboard).

Before pasting, you should mark the straight line of the first strip with a light dotted line.

For non-woven wallpaper, we recommend wallpapering using the paste the wall technique.

With the wall pasting technique, the paste is first applied generously to the wall with a roller and brush - and only for one panel at a time so that the paste does not dry out.

It can be a hand's breadth more, so that there is some play for the next lane.

Apply the paste carefully with a brush at the line of contact so that nothing can come loose later.

Measure the wall height, add approx. 10 cm overhang at the top and bottom and cut the strips to size.

Now you can apply the wallpaper with a little overhang from top to bottom and press down firmly.

When doing so, orientate yourself flush with the attachment line.

Using the press-on spatula, press the wallpaper firmly onto the wall from top to bottom and then centrally to the right and left.

Finally, cut off the overhang using a cutter knife and the press-on spatula as a cutting aid.

Important:

Please check the wallpapering result after 3 strips and keep the inserts and samples.

Gluing costs for more than 3 strips will not be covered.

Hanging wallpaper is that easy!
