You want to wallpaper and are faced with the question of what types of wallpaper there are and what properties they have?
No problem, I will introduce you to the most common types of wallpaper briefly and succinctly.
Our paper wallpapers are always made from high-quality recycled paper and have an embossed surface that has previously been printed in rotogravure.
They have particularly good properties in the areas of breathability, environmental friendliness, moisture regulation and light resistance.
Paper wallpapers require a short soaking time, which can vary depending on the thickness and quality of the paper backing and should not be exceeded. In principle, the manufacturer's instructions should be followed.
Textured profile wallpapers (or also textured vinyl wallpapers) are based on a paper backing with foamed PVC on the surface. They achieve a particularly expressive, three-dimensional effect.
The use of a special paste and a short soaking time are strongly recommended. However, the manufacturer's instructions on the respective insert should also be observed here.
Satin wallpapers (or vinyl wallpapers) can be based on multi-layered paper or non-woven as a backing material, each of which is covered with a full-surface plastic coating (PVC).
The regular printing process is followed by hot forming, the so-called "gloss embossing", which gives the satin wallpaper its satiny surface and its high-quality gloss.
Characteristic of this type of wallpaper is above all its high resistance to light and abrasion as well as its durability, making it a versatile wallpaper.
Thanks to its simple processing properties, non-woven wallpaper is becoming increasingly popular.
Long-fibre special pulps, textile fibres and binders, 80% of which are of natural origin, are used for the most part in the production of non-woven wallpaper. This production process in combination with the raw materials used achieves the unique dimensional stability of the non-woven, which makes it possible to process wallpaper without a soaking time.
Consequently, the non-woven wallpaper can be applied and processed directly on the previously pasted wall without having to expect any further change in shape (wall pasting technique). And non-woven wallpapers can also be easily and quickly removed completely dry during subsequent renovation work.
Our paintable wallpapers are non-woven wallpapers that can be individually and repeatedly painted over. The different surface structures offer numerous design options and are therefore a good alternative to standard glass or woodchip wallpaper.

Our paintable wallpapers are available in two different sizes:
As a so-called "Euro roll" in 10.00x0.53 m and as a "large roll" in 25.00x1.06 m. Due to the double width of the large roll, articles of this size can be wallpapered quickly and easily with 50% less seam formation.
Characteristic for this type of wallpaper is the "paintable" sign on the respective wallpaper insert.
Wallpaper borders are available in different lengths and widths and are ideal for accentuating wall surfaces, niches or door surrounds.
A distinction is made between borders that have to be attached to the wall with the help of paste (in this case, the surface to be wallpapered should be left blank) and self-adhesive borders that can be stuck directly onto the selected surface without the use of paste.
The usual lengths are: 5 and 10 metre lengths.
Our modern "Design Panels" enable uncomplicated but highly effective wall design with just one panel. Thanks to their self-adhesive character, they are easy and quick to apply to a variety of surfaces and offer inspiration for a very individual wall design thanks to their countless motif templates.

Also known as digital print wallpapers, digitally printed motif wallpapers are offered under the brand "XXLwallpaper" and "AP Digital", which enable entry into new dimensions of wall design.
The wall-filling and large-format wallpapers not only offer a range of photographic and artistic templates, but at the same time open the way to a completely individual wall design - specially selected motif templates can also be printed on request on the selected backing material, which is composed of different numbers of individual sheets depending on the size.
